“ Wearing makeup and being openly gay is hard for me. While it may look effortless, I don’t like to be judged. There are people who’ve never even met me who mercilessly make fun of me. I’ve come to terms with the fact that everyone has an opinion, and I’ve learned that I’ll be happier if I am myself without letting other people’s negativity affect that.

Having supporters and people who look up to me inspires me to continue to be myself and to never give up. Dancing and singing has gotten me through some of my hardest times. I play cello, sing, rap, dance, and even write my own music. I look forward to going to college for music!”
